Shari Larson, BSN, RN
Primerica Senior Rep
My personal position: I provide my husband, grown children and grandchildren both the time and attention they deserve because of my devoted love for them and my desire to live a life of significance.
I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 1981. I have been an RN, with my BSN for over thirty years. My first “job” was as a 2nd LT at Fort Hood, TX. I was assigned to the high risk antepartum/postpartum ward. I left active duty after three years, to start a family and move with my military husband. I was activated in 1991 for Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield and served in Germany for five months. I have held many jobs during my nursing career. For the last twenty years, I have been at Metroplex Health System. I have been in the Surgical Services Department most of that time and have held many different positions. For the last two years, I have been the Surgical Services Educator.
I am most excited about my part-time career. For over five years, I have been part-time in the Financial Services field. I am transitioning this year to move to working full-time, serving families and their financial needs.
My professional position: With Jesus Christ as my cornerstone, I believe in the power of financial literacy, so I provide education for others on how to be properly protected, debt free and financially independent. Also, I believe in caring for others with all my talents. I am equipped to extend the healing ministries of Christ by promoting physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual wellness.
My purpose: I strive to encourage others, especially my girlfriends, to live a life of uncommon joy. I live to be a blessing to others and to purposefully, daily, serve my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am blessed!
